They led us through silent canopies.
Broken by the howls of hidden life.
I felt this warmth growing as we neared the glow of fire.
guided into hollowed out trunks as a hum began to build.
Chlorophyll. Mushrooms. Ambivalence.
Alchemy in motion stared at us.
Luminescent moss became shadowed forms.
I saw one move, then realized it was me.
We were hung up pine cones for days.
In these arm like branches until
released amongst the fade of the hum

Equipped with poison darts we float through these grecian streets.
Past surveillant eyes we descent into caverns.
The echoes of our footsteps carry us there.
